Should a minor travel alone, or with one parent, a written consent of both or the other parent is required. Signatures of the parents should be legalised.
If you are applying on behalf of a minor visa applicant, please bring:
- A signed passport, valid until at least three months after completion of the intended journey, plus a photocopy of pages 1 to 9 (old model) or 1 to 5 (new model) AND any other pages that contain visa, immigration stamps, stamps from other embassies or any other information.
- If the child is in the parent’s passport, a copy of that page.
- One fully, correctly and clearly completed separate application form, duly dated and signed by the applicant. If the applicant is too young to sign, have both parents sign the form, plus a copy of both parent’s passport.
- Two recent pictures (3,5 x 4 cm, no older than 3 months, no computer adjustments, face forward, light colored background.) Head scarves should not cover eye browes, cheek bones, nose, mouth and chin.
- Previous passports if available.
- Payment of visa fee: 730,000 IRR
- Written consent from the parents or custodians.
- Notice with approved leave from school if travels are outside of school holidays.
Important
- Children younger than 6 yrs do not pay visa fees and do not need to appear in person.
- Children older than 6 yrs in their parent’s passport do not pay visa fees.
- Children older than 6 yrs with their own passport have to pay visa fees.
- Children under 16 yrs need not appear in person.
- When the child travels with only one parent, it is recommended that a letter of consent is added to the application from the parent that stays behind, plus a copy of his or her passport.
