Starting in Iran?
Contact the Embassy for a general information talk about the Iranian market. The Embassy will explain the scope of its services and what it can do for businesses. In this talk, we can answer your questions and provide information on the following:

- doing business in Iran
- opportunities and threats, sectors and themes
- rules and regulations
- potential business partners
- tenders
- projects of multilateral institutions
- available Dutch incentives

Some of the questions that companies have can be dealt with immediately, others take time, some can be better answered by commercial parties. The Embassy will refer those particular questions to companies and institutions that can respond quickly and professionally.

In addition, the Embassy can assist companies getting started in the Iranian market by introducing them to local authorities and businesses and by providing tips and advice on potential business partners. The Embassy does not, however, participate in negotiations.

Enquiries in the field of agriculture (including agro-industry), nature management and the food processing industry are answered by the agricultural office.

Whenever possible, solving trade and investment disputes with companies and government authorities, including assistance collecting overdue payments.
Advising on how to take advantage of the Dutch government's financial incentives for doing business in Iran
